4:00 September Meeting -
Belmont, NC Club House
More info
Why a club meeting? These meetings
allow the members of the club to
discuss any common problems, to
schedule upcoming events, to
interact with other members holding
similar or differing views, and most
importantly, to contribute to the
success of the club in the support
of our Midshipmen. Your
participation is not only valuable
to the club, but even more so to
your Mid. Here you may actually
learn information that could affect
the outcome of your mid's military
achievements.

Shirts
Many of you asked yesterday about my
shirt. I went to the web link that
Scott put on last year for us. The
company is local and wonderful to
work with. You can get any style
shirt for anybody. They will
monogram almost anything you want.
As you saw, or can see the quality
is very very nice.

It is the ladies scoop neck by port
Authority. They have V necks and
golf shirts, long sleeve shirts.
Anything you want!

I got a shirt for Gene's Dad, I'm
going to get one for my sister for
Army/Navy... She'll love it.

Update from our President Briget
Bordino
Wow, what an incredible day! At last
count, we had over 100 people in
attendance at this years Hail &
Farewell held in Salisbury, NC. Not
even the scorching heat could hold
back the excited new NAPster,
Plebes, Mids and families from
joining us as we celebrated the
arrival of the class of 2012 and the
departure of our fine young Ensigns
& 2nd Lieutenant.
We welcomed 21 new families to our
club. I believe that is a new club
record! It was so exciting to talk
to our newest members and relive the
elation of what they are about to
undertake. Many of their questions
were once ours as we remembered our
1st meetings. This club was formed
to support our Midshipmen and their
families. We hope that everyone
feels free to reach out to anyone
associated with the USNAPCGC,
especially the board members.
It has been amazing to watch Nick,
DyAnna, Stefanie and Stephen grow
into the fine young adults that they
are today. Hearing their stories,
sharing in their parents joy as each
year passed made Saturday
exceptional. For the past 4 years
we got to share in their experiences
and get a glimpse of what a
Midshipman's life is like. As new
members coming into the club, we
were amazed at their fortitude,
poise and confidence. As
established members we are in awe of
what they have accomplished.
I’d like to remind everyone of our
next meeting, August 2nd is the
Pre-Plebe Parent Weekend Picnic.
The Siragusa's have generously
volunteered their home. The club
will provide the hamburgers and
hotdogs, and we ask all members to
bring 1 side dish and drinks. Check
www.usnapcgc.org for any and all
club updates.
Also, please hurry and purchase your
tickets at www.navysports.com
for the Pittsburgh vs. Navy football
game & parking pass. More
information will be forthcoming on
this club tradition soon!
Thank you and remember-Good luck
happens when preparedness meets
opportunity.
